BTP and Digital Transformation: How SAP's Platform is Revolutionizing Business
ABSTRACT: This paper looks at the revolutionary effect of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) on digitalization endeavors in organization in July∼2025. The analysis relies on the prevailing industry facts e.g. the valantic SAP Study 2025 that depicts that BTP shifts the paradigm of infrastructure integration to strategic innovation driver, its use is increased to 64%, and wide implementation of embedded analytics and automation. In the second part of our discussion, we discuss the layered nature of BTP that began with in-memory computing, followed by cloud native services, AI/ML, and finally enterprise integration and evaluate how they contribute to improved agility and real-time insights as well as clean-core systems. The case evidence, such as automation trends identified by Precisely and ASUG by 2025, states that 58 percent of the automation will be powered by BTP and proves that it plays a prominent role in the provision of intelligent and scalable business solutions. The paper summarizes such advancements into an evidence-based assessment of the BTP effects in terms of accelerating time-to-value, operational resilience, and competitive distinction. The outcomes show that the companies that apply BTP in July 2025 observe tangible advances in productivity of their processes, data-based decision-making, and connection to an ecosystem. We also end with expressing strategic suggestions and policy implications (including migration planning, talent preparation, and governance regulations) to organizations that want to zone in on the maximum potential benefits that BTP offers to their digital transformation processes.
