Quantum Compression Theory — Effective Field Formalism and Phenomenology
I present a consistent and testable formulation of quantum compression theory (QCT) as an effective quantum field theory in which the entanglement density ρent(x,t) is raised to a dynamical scalar field. In this framework, gravity appears as the collective response of the spacetime geometry to neutrino-lepton entanglement, with ρent acting as a source of curvature and modulating the local gravitational coupling. This entanglement can be modulated by a wave interpretation, considering very low mass together with the number of neutrinos per unit volume per time. I postulate that through the wave functions, neutrino-neutrino entangled pairs can arise, where each of these pairs can still be entangled with a lepton. The decoherence of the entanglement is given by time, and it is possible to dilate it with mass objects. Massive black holes preserve decoherence. I derive the QCT action, field equations, and modified Einstein equations with a position-dependent Newton constant Geff(x) = G0/(1 + κρent). The dynamics of ρent include non-linear self-interactions, neutrino–lepton sources, and decoherence effects. A coupling between ρent and baryonic matter is introduced via a bilinear term ρent ρhad. Interpretation of mass. In the Quantum Compression framework, spacetime is an emergent structure composed of a network of entangled and decohered neutrinos. This substrate, while rich in quantum correlations, sits atop a more fundamental ontological background — a pre-quantum void, devoid of any information or structure. The inertial mass of particles does not arise from local fields such as the Higgs condensate, but from the resistance of the substrate to deformations that extend toward this informational void. The heavier the particle, the deeper it deforms the entangled neutrino fabric, and the more tightly the substrate must ”hold” it against the pull of the underlying nothingness. Thus, mass is interpreted as a measure of how much the entangled vacuum must be compressed to prevent collapse into non-being. Using a topological quantisation scheme on compact K¨ahler manifolds, I show that particle masses arise from discrete compression modes nT and associated Berry phases. This leads to exponential mass hierarchies and predicts mass ratios consistent with the Standard Model. I demonstrate that QCT naturally accounts for several phenomena without invoking dark matter or a cosmological constant, including flat galactic rotation curves, cosmic acceleration, and CP violation. Quantisation is performed in the BRST formalism, and the theory exhibits ultraviolet finiteness due to a modified propagator structure. We compare QCT predictions with current cosmological and particle data (Planck, DESI, NOvA), and propose falsifiable experimental tests using DESI, LSST, Hyper-Kamiokande, IceCube, and LIGO/Virgo. I reinterpret Hawking radiation as a consequence of extremely slow decoherence of entangled neutrino–lepton states inside black holes. This mechanism eliminates the need for trans-Planckian modes or horizon pair creation, providing a physically consistent and information-preserving model of black hole evaporation within QCT.
