Never Make an Aggrieved Person a Leader
An aggrieved leader often prioritises personal grievances over collective welfare, which can lead to catastrophic consequences. This article highlights the dangers of such leadership through examples from history, fiction, and real life. The fall of Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader illustrates how unresolved grievances can distort judgment, resulting in authoritarian rule. Adolf Hitler’s leadership, fuelled by vengeance and insecurities, devastated millions. In contrast, Intel’s Andy Grove exemplifies resilience, using his past trauma to foster innovation and progress. Effective leadership requires emotional balance, moral clarity, and prioritisation of the common good over personal vendettas.
