Margaret, Buster and the Latent Big Bamm
Most people wouldn’t put “granny walking her dog” and “supernova explosion” in the same sentence, unless granny was really fast or the dog was radioactive. But if recursion is the foundational structure of reality, then scale is irrelevant. All systems – no matter how absurdly different on the surface – are structurally translatable. What follows, although intentionally satirical, is not satire. It is a demonstration that if we accept for just a minute, that recursion is the ontological substrate of the universe, than everything is everything else given enough recursive translation. This essay is inspired by my previous work titled ‘The Fractal Recursive Loop Theory of the Universe’ in which I argue that recursion is exactly that substrate.
