Quantum Work Extraction in a Jaynes-Cummings System with Feedback Control
This includes Python simulation code and supporting documents investigating quantum thermodynamics in a two-qubit Jaynes-Cummings system. It explores extractable work (ergotropy) and entanglement under adaptive, delayed feedback control based on the Structured Energy Return (SER) hypothesis. The simulation uses the Lindblad master equation to model the system's evolution with varying coupling strengths and feedback parameters, including a realistic feedback delay. Findings suggest feedback enhances coherence and work extraction, sometimes independently of entanglement measures. An associated experimental proposal outlines potential validation using superconducting circuits. The python script used for numerical simulation is provided here as well as github.
