S. Ramanujan, a multifaceted personality known as a dramatist, playwright, modern theatre director, professor, and pioneer of children's theatre, was born on 04.07.1935 to Seshan-Renganayagi in Nanguneri, Tirunelveli district. He holds a Master's degree in English and a Postgraduate degree in the 'Children's Theatre Department' from the National School of Drama, New Delhi.
