A Study on Digital Innovation Advancing Sustainability and Transparency for Viksit Bharat @2047

Abstract Within the ambit of Viksit Bharat @2047, this assumes that digital innovation makes linkages with sustainability and transparency that accelerate an economic growth and governance revolution through revolutions motivated by new technologies. Besides enabling enhanced government accountability, enhanced resource efficiency, and supported sustainability for government economic development, digital solutions like artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, the Internet of Things (IoT), big data, and analytics are used. It is also mentioned in the report some important government projects where the equipment is currently applying digital innovations around sustainability as seen in environmental monitoring, smart city applications, and digital finance. The study also considers the difficulties encountered in establishing digital governance systems that come up with transparent systems (security vulnerabilities, regulatory gaps, digital accessability issues etc.). They show that digital innovation must be coupled with the improvement of the policy-driven governance to ensure sustainable and transparent growth. In that sense, from the strategic roadmap placed by technological advances and by an enabling legislative framework along with the process of inclusion, India would move to its pivot to a digital, sustainable, and transparent economy by 2047.
