Poetry collection "The doors are closing" by V. Sosnora as piece of author's late work

The article examines poetry collection "The Doors are closing" by V. Sosnora's as the final part of the three books, written at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries and including the collections "Where did you go? And where is the Window?" (1999), "Flute and Prose" (2000) and "The Doors are closing" (2001). Two motif-shaped complexes stand out as the central ones? Among them are the motives of death, destruction, suicide, and the Apocalyps and the motive of music, singing, and art. They can be traced in the collection "The doors are closing". Their connection with the similar motifs in the two previous collections can be observed, too. The attention is paid to the peculiarities of the author's appeal to someone else's word, to an autobiographical myth, to auto-citations and auto-allusions. The conclusion is drawn about close ideological and semantic connections between the individual poems within the cycles, between the cycles themselves, and between the three collections by V. Sosnora, written at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries.
