Protocol for a context analysis: Exploring the need for IHC resources in the context of school health services

In this context analysis, we aimed to explore whether school health nurses in Norway expressed a need for IHC resources for use in the classroom as part of their teaching. Through focus group discussions, semi-structured interviews, and workshops, we sought to collect data from individuals with any connection to the Norwegian school health service. We were particularly interested in exploring school health nurses' competencies, opportunities, and motivations with regard to teaching critical thinking about health claims. The protocol (written in Norwegian) outlines the methods and plans for this context analysis.

Abstract

In this context analysis, we aimed to explore whether school health nurses in Norway expressed a need for IHC resources for use in the classroom as part of their teaching. Through focus group discussions, semi-structured interviews, and workshops, we sought to collect data from individuals with any connection to the Norwegian school health service. We were particularly interested in exploring school health nurses' competencies, opportunities, and motivations with regard to teaching critical thinking about health claims. The protocol (written in Norwegian) outlines the methods and plans for this context analysis.
