Digital Platforms of Water Resource Trading System
Abstract: Water trading platforms are becoming cutting-edge instruments for managing water scarcity and guaranteeing the effective distribution of water resources among industries, municipalities, and farmers. These digital or physical marketplaces facilitate stakeholders purchase, sell, and lease water rights and excess water, encouraging more adaptable and market-driven approaches to water distribution. . By allocating water to its most valuable uses, these platforms promote conservation, maximize utilization, and promote environmental and economic sustainability. Water trading platforms can lessen the effects of droughts, climate change, and over-extraction of water sources by providing transparency and facilitating real-time trades. To avoid abuse, provide fair access, and protect the environment, water trading systems must be carefully regulated for successful implementation. Water trading networks present a viable strategy for attaining long-term water security and resilience as water scarcity becomes a more urgent worldwide concern
