The implementation of electric vehicles looked at in a holistic and sustainable way

This article aims to demonstrate the need to observe the implementation of electric vehicles in society in a holistic way, taking into account the structural needs of the energy matrix and also the types of energy generation in order to highlight the importance of using sources that do not emit CO2. A bibliographical search was carried out in scientific articles, as well as documents from public and private institutions. The research allows us to conclude that joint action between the private sector and the government is necessary to enable the structuring of the energy matrix, in addition to encouraging the technological and marketing development of electric vehicles. Although there is a significant increase in the number of electric vehicles in the Brazilian fleet, the conditions for supplying and purchasing this good are still limited, aspects that justify the need to carry out this discussion.
