Versioned Archive and Review of Biotic Interactions and Taxon Names Found within GoMexSI/abascal hash://md5/ebf0181bb0a077ca7b5d952c4915ae13

Life on Earth is sustained by complex interactions between organisms and their environment. These biotic interactions can be captured in datasets and published digitally. We present a review and archiving process for such an openly accessible digital interactions dataset of known origin and discuss its outcome. The dataset under review, named GoMexSI/abascal, has fingerprint hash://md5/ebf0181bb0a077ca7b5d952c4915ae13, is 847KiB in size and contains 4,409 interactions with 1 unique type of association (e.g., eats) between 25 primary taxa (e.g., Coryphaena hippurus) and 563 associated taxa (e.g., Copepoda). This report includes detailed summaries of interaction data, a taxonomic review from multiple catalogs, and an archived version of the dataset from which the reviews are derived.
