Fractal Forecast — Python Simulation Code for Noise-Resilient Weather Modeling
This archive contains the full Python source code and documentation for the "Fractal Forecast" model submitted to the HeroX Forecast Force Challenge. The model introduces a noise-resilient, structure-preserving weather prediction algorithm based on fractal coupling and compressive dynamics. Unlike traditional diffusion-based models, Fractal Forecast maintains coherent propagation patterns even under noisy or incomplete data conditions. Included in this archive:- Python scripts for classical diffusion and fractal forecasting models,- A comparative visualization script,- A LaTeX report describing the methodology and code structure,- Output figures (optional),- Licensing and reproducibility details. All code runs on Python 3.10+ using only NumPy and Matplotlib. It has been tested on Jupyter, Google Colab, and local environments. No external dependencies or cloud resources are required.
