Exploring the divergence: An analysis on youngster's preference among Indian animation and Western animation
ABSTRACT: Animation has become a powerful storytelling tool that transcends national and cultural boundaries. This study explores audience preferences for animation styles, focusing on the distinct differences between Indian and Western animation. Indian animation plays a significant role in the modern world, where the animation industry continues to evolve and push creative boundaries. Indian animation is seen as a pioneer, fueled by passion, creativity, and advanced technology, aiming to achieve a leading position globally. On the other hand, foreign animation, such as anime, French animation, and other styles, offers a wealth of creative storytelling, artistic innovation, and cultural diversity for audiences to enjoy. This research uses a mixed-methods approach, including surveys, interviews, and content analysis, to examine the factors influencing people's preferences for each style. It aims to provide a deeper understanding of the differences between Indian and Western animation, identify areas for improvement in Indian animation, and define the unique characteristics of Indian animation.
