The first of three parts of the theory that describes the functions of different parts of the brain. This part covers the functions of the hippocampus and the dopamine system. To simplify understanding, the motivation of non-sentient beings, which differs from human motivation due to the absence of moral drivers, is used as an example. More detailed questions related to the mammillary bodies, the fornix of the brain, and the transformation of short-term memory into intermediate memory will be discussed in the third part.

Abstract

The first of three parts of the theory that describes the functions of different parts of the brain. This part covers the functions of the hippocampus and the dopamine system. To simplify understanding, the motivation of non-sentient beings, which differs from human motivation due to the absence of moral drivers, is used as an example. More detailed questions related to the mammillary bodies, the fornix of the brain, and the transformation of short-term memory into intermediate memory will be discussed in the third part.
