menarest/trophcost-econ-ecol: Supplementary code for Menares et al. (2025) Cost-effective conservation of multiple goals in grasslands: synergies and trade-offs.

Full Changelog: https://github.com/menarest/trophcost-econ-ecol/commits/v1.0.0 The datasets generated in the study are publicly available on the Biodiversity Exploratories Information System (BExIS; http://doi.org/10.17616/R32P9Q) under IDs 31780, 31791, 31796, 31798, 31808, 31816, 31930, 31931, 31932. Also, see IDs 31817 and 31807 for R scripts to transform results. This study was based on data from previous projects of the Biodiversity Exploratories program (DFG Priority Program 1374). These can be found under ID 23586, 12526, and 20826). All scripts for analyses can be found in the repository https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15108446. The optimization results were obtained using a C# implementation of the heuristic greedy algorithm in Visual Studio 2019 and a MySQL database tailored to the project's datasets. While the optimization method is transferable, the implementation is tailored to the project. The C# code can be obtained by request from the authors.
