LEADERSHIP STYLES AND THEIR IMPACT ON DECISION-MAKING
Leadership styles significantly influence decision-making processes within organizations, shaping outcomes and team dynamics. This paper explores the relationship between various leadership styles—autocratic, democratic, laissez-faire, and transformational—and their impact on decision-making effectiveness. By examining how these styles affect leader engagement, team involvement, and overall organizational performance, the study highlights the importance of adapting leadership approaches to situational demands. Transformational leaders, for instance, foster collaborative environments that enhance creativity and collective decision-making, while autocratic leaders may prioritize efficiency at the cost of team input. The findings underscore the need for leaders to be aware of their style's implications on decision-making and to cultivate flexibility in their approach to optimize organizational outcomes.
