THE PROBLEM OF MOLD IN LIBRARY STORAGES AND THE WAYS TO ELIMINATE IT
The possibility of cleaning processes of books contaminated with mold, viruses, bacteria and other microorganisms has been studied. The optimal dose of ozone has been determined, which will clean the surface of the book page from mold, viruses, bacteria and other harmful microorganisms without damaging the surface of the book and its internal structure. For this purpose, a laboratory ozonizer with a compressor (6 l/min) was prepared. The performance of which was 0.32 g/hour. It was determined that in the case of this type of ozonizer, the usable dose of ozone in book storages is 60 minutes.
