The Business of Yoga: Financial Aspects in Healthcare, Education, and Corporate Wellness
Abstract: Yoga must be implemented as a nationwide intervention using a variety of strategies. Yoga may be a broad social movement in action thanks to the government's active support through legislation that encourage it, the natural interest that is growing among the general public, and facilitating service groups. However, a lot of money must be spent and invested in order for all of this to be completely realized in terms of actual conditions on the ground. Yoga scientists must clearly, empirically, and statistically comprehend the cash flow components of yoga before society can develop a creative program to disseminate yoga that will appeal to the vast majority of people. Therefore, the search turned up no significant research on the financial effects of yoga in the many fields where it has gained traction. Economic concerns are raised by the rising expense of healthcare, with diabetes alone in the US expected to cost over USD 400 billion in 2022. Although it lacks a cost-utility analysis, yoga, a non-pharmacological approach, may be able to treat common illnesses. Although the government may need to enact laws to control yoga-related businesses, utilizing the potential of yoga instruction in the unorganized sector can boost the economy of the country. Given that workplace stress costs $300 billion a year, yoga research and development is crucial for both academic pursuits and the business sector.
