FEATURES AND TRENDS OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE MONGOLIAN PERIODICAL PRESS

Abstract This article attempts to identify the features, trends, current state, and challenges of the development of Mongolian periodical press using specific examples of modern newspapers and magazines. Despite the problems pertaining to the development of periodicals due to the advancement of new information technologies, newspapers and magazines are actively working to maintain their positions in the information market and modernize their activities. The author provides an overview of these topics in the article and suggests ways to addressing the pressing problems.
