Anisandrus maiche (Kurentsov, 1941) (Coleoptera: Curculionidae, Scolytinae) – new bark beetle in the Polish fauna.Anisandrus maiche (Kurentsov, 1941) is reported for the first time from Poland. One specimen (female) was captured using multiple-funnel trap (IBL-3 type) in Scots pine stand in Krasiczyn Forest District (East Beskid Mts.). We also provide a set of characteristics allowing to distinguish A. maiche from two similar species: A. dispar (Fabricius, 1792) and Xylosandrus germanus (Blandford, 1894).
