Deliverable D5.3 identifies methods to eradicate tobamoviruses in contaminated growing media. Specifically, the application of heat was investigated. Two methods were tested: steaming and solarisation.The H2020 project VIRTIGATION - Emerging viral diseases in tomatoes and cucurbits: Implementation of mitigation strategies for durable disease management - has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement No. 101000570.
