TREATMENT OF LONG-STANDING PELVIC FRACTURES OF TYPE C1 WITH INJURIES TO THE LATERAL MASS OF THE SACRUM AND SACROILIAC JOINT
The paper presents a method developed by the authors for the treatment of long-standing unstable injuries of the pelvic ring with vertical displacement in fractures of the lateral mass of the sacrum, damage to the sacroiliac joint, which includes the bilateral application of lumbar-pelvic retainers in the form of curved support beams supported by the abdominal bone, the installation of screws in the bodies of at least 2 vertebrae and the posterior sections of the abdominal bones on the right and left sides and the repositions of the residual displacement in the anterior semicircle of the pelvis. The proposed technology for the treatment of long-standing fractures of the C1 type pelvic bones in cases of damage to the lateral mass of the sacrum and sacroiliac joint ensures the removal of the vertically displaced pelvic bone to the maximum possible distance, and the reposition of the residual displacement in the anterior semicircle of the pelvis in an external fixation device. In this position, the pelvic ring as a whole is stabilized, which allows for early activation of the patient.
