"It's alive!" – bringing Open Access to the people
The work of the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries does not end with the successful negotiation of Open Access agreements. The processes involved in bringing these agreements to life are complex and multifaceted. This presentation focuses on the direct and indirect support by the Consortial Services to libraries to notify end users (authors, researchers) about their publishing options under Open Access agreements. We also give insights into our collaboration with international services to provide information tools for end users. Guest speakers from University of Zurich and Lib4RI - Library for the Research Institutes within the ETH Domain present the solutions for their institutions.
