Growth‑Spine Ribbon + O³ — Accelerated Living Architecture

We propose a unified concept that combines the Growth‑Spine Ribbon (GSR) with an O³ fast‑growth module to accelerate early‑stage tree growth while maintaining rigorous field safety and MRV. The GSR is a dry, multilayer, per‑sapling ribbon derived from the Open Space Elevator Cable (OSEC) architecture; it reduces wind stress, enhances nocturnal radiative cooling and dew delivery to the microsite, and enables low‑cost sensing. The O³ concept adds a photonic augmentation path via an optical fiber embedded in the GSR to locally increase DLI under tightly controlled schedules. Together, these pieces sketch a path from saplings → engineered living spines → urban living structures. Important: The O³ photonic path is research‑only at this stage. Claims such as “two years instead of ten” are aspirational and contingent on results. This whitepaper outlines the concept and a plan to test it.
