A Unifying Compact Formula in Electrodynamics: Relating Current, Force, Electric Field, Velocity, and Wavelength
This paper introduces and explores a novel compact equation that unifies multiple foundational principles of classical electrodynamics: I = F.v / E.λ This formulation links mechanical force (F), particle velocity (v), electric field strength (E), and wavelength (λ) to define electric current (I). While each relationship in this equation is rooted in known physical laws, the combined expression offers a simplified and unified model for analyzing systems where both electromagnetic and mechanical phenomena coexist. We investigate its derivation, physical implications, educational value, and potential applications across fields such as plasma physics, RF systems, and electromagnetic actuators.
