Preprint_System R_ A Field-Logic Cognitive Architecture for Neurodiversity and Emergent Intelligence

Arising from work in general medical practice and the need for a more integrative understanding of cognition and behavior, this paper contributes to the Hadlich Field Resonance Theory (HFRT)—a unified framework for emergent coherence across biological, psychological, and artificial systems. This paper introduces System R, the cognitive architecture of HFRT. It extends classical dual-process models (System 1 and 2) by adding field-logic cognition—a distributed, non-symbolic, and context-sensitive mode of processing that enables emergent intelligence in environments of high complexity and uncertainty. System R accounts for key neurodivergent features such as time-blindness, intuitive system insight, and non-linear attention patterns, and aligns with neurobiological findings on Default Mode Network (DMN) activation and interhemispheric integration. It also mirrors transformer-based AI architectures, suggesting a shared coherence logic across human and artificial cognition. System R reframes cognitive development, consciousness, and adaptive behavior not as rule-driven computation, but as recursive resonance within multidimensional coherence fields.
