USING AUTHENTIC MATERIALS TO ASSESS LEXICAL COMPETENCE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL LEARNERS

Through this article the author explores the important role authentic materials play in language acquisition. Besides that, there is provided adequate information about the current use of real-life materials in assessment of lexical competence in primary schools coupled with analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the application of authentic materials into EFL and ESL classrooms.
