Ovipositor sheath (Figure 3 (g)) 0.9 × as long as hind basitarsus, with long and dense setae apically. Colour. Light yellow (Figure 3 (a)). Antenna and apex of ovipositor sheath brown. Legs pale yellow to slightly yellow-brown, except tips of apical tarsomeres darker brown. Wing membranes hyaline, pterostigma (pale yellow-brown inside), vein r, 2-SR, 1-SR, 1-M and 1- CU1 darker brown, other veins light brown. Male Unknown. Host Unknown. Material examined (NHMUK) Holotype. 1♀, Malaysia, Borneo, Sarawak, Gunung, Mulu, JD Holloway, 1 April 1978, No. NHMUK101639305. Distribution MALAYSIA: Borneo: Sarawak. Etymology The specific name ‘ longimetacarpaa ’ derives from the Latin, referring to the long metacarp of fore wing. Remarks This species is similar to C. taiwanica (Papp and Chou, 1996), but differs in the following characters: vein 1-R1 long, nearly as long as length of pterostigma (indistinct in C. taiwanica); vein 2-SR as long as 2-M (2-SR about 3 × longer than 2-M in C. taiwanica); and notauli distinct at least on anterior 1/3 (absent in C. taiwanica).
