SPATIAL COATINGS AS THE MOST COMPLEX STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF LARGE-SPAN BUILDINGS
The purpose of this article is to determine the most difficult to install structural components of large-span buildings. Determination of the most complex structures for installation processes was carried out on the basis of comparative analysis on the indicators of labor intensity, volumes and complexity of installation works, hazard level of works at high altitudes, involvement of high-capacity cranes or powerful hydraulic lifts in erection processes, complex configuration and weight of mounted structures. Large-span coatings are the most difficult to erect from the entire list of bearing and enclosing structures of large-sized objects. It is the spatial design of large-span coatings that deserve increased attention when analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of known installation options and developing new structural and technological solutions for erection.
