Interlinking Agricultural Productivity, Economic Growth, and Climate Change between saarc Nations: a Pathway to Sustainable Development
Abstract: This research paper analyses the interrelationships of agricultural productivity, economic growth, and climate change in the member countries of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (saarc). The economies of the saarc countries are significantly dependent on agriculture, and the region faces threats posed by climate change. This study explains how declining agricultural productivity, growing challenges of climate change, and economic inequalities affect each other, emphasizing the need for regional cooperation and sustainable development strategies to address these challenges. The study suggests that adopting climate-smart agricultural practices, investing in research and technology, and strengthening regional trade and economic partnerships can promote sustainable development in the saarc countries.
