SKIN CANCER IN THE AREA OF SCARRING

For many decades, in the literature there has been a discussion about the role of skin scars in the devel-opment of tumors. Despite this, the distinctive features of their formation and pathogenetic mechanisms re-main not fully revealed. The results of treatment of this phenomenon, which developed in the area of scar changes of random origin (appearing as a result of mechanical, traumatic injuries or thermal and thermal burns of the skin), are disappointing. The occurrence of disease relapses and metastases in the immediate period after therapy worsens the quality of life of patients and necessitates the search for adequate methods and approaches to the treatment of this group of patients.
