CAELESTIS D5.1 UQ&M strategy for product and manufacturing
In the WP4, different deterministic high-fidelity digital twins ofthe manufacturing processes of the OGV have been developed tomodel and to simulate the physics of the AFP, the RTM, the L-PBFand the assembly processes. The deterministic simulations of thedifferent steps of the processes were realized for the nominalconfigurations of the product / processes parameters. However, some of these parameters are uncertain in the real workshopenvironment. So, to be close to the real processes and materials, with their own variabilities, uncertainty quantification andpropagation strategies must be defined and integrated in thenumerical workflow. To ensure the uncertainty propagation inthe different deterministic processes simulations and digitaltwins, several “state of the art” methods have been selected infunction of the stochastic complexity of the deterministic modelsand simulations and of the computational times.
