Chaotic Play. A New Theory on Unpredictable Board Games
This thesis introduces Ludo-dynamic Chaos as a new framework for understanding, designing, and experiencing unpredictable board games. Based on chaos theory, it presents a unique formula (Jc = (Df + I) × t → E), a set of experimental microgames, and a validation phase through practical application. The work combines academic structure, ludic creativity, and theoretical reflection to propose a model in which small player decisions can lead to emergent and unexpected outcomes. This version is the English translation of the thesis originally published in Spanish under the title “Caos Lúdico”.
