Abstract This article analyzes the educational potential of Netflix video content, focusing on its effectiveness in language learning, cultural awareness, and critical thinking development. By leveraging its vast catalog of diverse shows, documentaries, and films, Netflix presents unique opportunities for educators to enhance students’ learning experiences. The study includes practical applications in language education, particularly in Kazakhstan, and explores how Netflix can foster student engagement and cross-cultural understanding. Through literature reviews, case studies, and surveys, the study evaluates the benefits and challenges of integrating streaming content into educational settings.
