EVALUATING OF CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT IN THE LANDSCAPE ENVIRONMENT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALGIERS-CENTER (ALGERIA)

Abstract Exploring the Chi-square tests, the current paper attempts to assess the impact of the gender and the age of gardens visitors on their interest to be involved in the environmental improvement. The study is based on quantitative approach, the two face-to-face surveys, conducted in May 2021 and September15-30, 2022, among 37 and 192 participants respectively in Khemisti gardens in the capital of Algeria. Consequently, the results indicated that the dependence between the selected variables isn’t confirmed. (P > 0.05).
