Water Pollution Mitigation Using Sustainable Development
Abstract In the modern world, water pollution is still a significant problem, and solving it has emerged as a top concern for sustainable development. By establishing a specific objective (SDG 6: assure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all) to address the urgent issues brought on by water pollution, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development elevates water quality concerns to the fore of global action. But what connection does water pollution have to the other SDGs? The goal of this work is to provide a response to this question, which is crucial for identifying and comprehending critical development concerns connected to water quality. To demonstrate the connections between water pollution and the 2030 Agenda, a descriptive study is conducted. The results support two important ideas: (i) there are numerous ways that water pollution can impede the fulfillment of different SDGs, and (ii) the attainment of SDGs can also improve water quality. This descriptive study of the connections between water pollution and SDGs is not all-inclusive, but it can offer some guidance to practitioners, scholars, and decision-makers who are dealing with the problem of water pollution
