Applying Rhetorical Frameworks to the Teachings of the Bhagavad Gita
This paper investigates the convergence of ancient philosophical thought and contemporary communication theory by analyzing the Bhagavad Gita through various rhetorical frameworks. Utilizing Aristotelian rhetoric, encompassing ethos, pathos, and logos, as well as modern communication theories such as dialogism and narrative theory, this study illustrates how the Gita serves as a profound resource for ethical discourse, persuasive communication, and transformational leadership. By contextualizing Krishna's teachings within current communicative practices, this analysis emphasizes the Gita's significance in addressing contemporary issues in leadership, conflict resolution, and personal development. This interdisciplinary perspective aims to provide a fresh lens for interpreting ancient wisdom in the context of present-day communication challenges.
