Data and codes for the article "Exploiting nonequilibrium phase transitions and strong symmetries for continuous measurement of collective observables"

Codes to reproduce data and figures of the paper with the same name. Title: Exploiting nonequilibrium phase transitions and strong symmetries for continuous measurement of collective observables. Authors: Albert Cabot, Federico Carollo, Igor Lesanovsky. Arxiv: https://doi.org/10.48550/arXiv.2407.13352 Journal: accepted in Physical Review A Letters. Basic information about the codes: Written in Python and Julia. Making use of the python packages: Scipy, Numpy, Matplotlib, Qutip. Folder structure: Two main folders: Folder "Figures": There is one folder for each figure. Naming convention according to the numbering in the paper/supplemental. Each figure folder contains: a sample of the figure in .pdf format; the python script that produces the figure; a folder "data". The folder "data" contains the data necessary for the plot. In the heading of each data file there are the labels for each column of data. Folder "Sample_Codes": It contains the general codes that can be used to obtain the data used to produce the paper. There are four families of codes depending on what they are doing. For each family there is a folder. "Protocol_local_loses": It contains implementations of the system with local decay [Eq. (8) arxiv version]. There are three programs. One using the Piqs library of Qutip. Two own implementations of the permutation invariant system. One in Julia. One in Python. The programs are able to: Integrate master equation (with time-dependent Hamiltonian). Integrate stochastic master equation (with time-dependent Hamiltonian). Diagonalize Liouvillian. The two own implementations contain examples showing how two use them for different purposes. "Protocol_one_sector": It contains the implementation of Eq. (2) of the arxiv version considering only one angular momentum sector. It is implemented with Qutip. "Protocol_two_S_sectors: It contains the implementation of Eq. (2) of the arxiv version considering two angular momentum sectors. It consists of a Julia program. The program is able to: Integrate master equation (with time-dependent Hamiltonian). Integrate stochastic master equation (with time-dependent Hamiltonian). The program contains examples showing how two use it for different purposes. "Protocol_with_disorder": It contains the programs necessary to obtain the data for Fig. S9. The programs are implemented in Python making use of Qutip.
