The Role of the Governor's Assistant Institute in Poverty Reduction

This article discusses the essence of the concept of poverty and various socio-political views, measurements andapproaches to determining its criteria based on scientific analytical considerations. The creation of an institutional system for linkingthe mahalla system with khokimiyats, the concept of an assistant khokim, the reforms carried out by the assistant khokim in reducingpoverty. A new approach to improving the living conditions of the population in the regions, the development of entrepreneurship,the implementation of a new approach and the accumulated national experience in achieving the effectiveness of poverty reductionand social support programs, the introduction of the principle of “Seven Opportunities and Responsibilities for Poor Families” basedon the “From Poverty to Prosperity” program are presented. Also, scientific conclusions and recommendations of socio-politicalsignificance are given on the types, specific aspects and classification of the concept of poverty.
