ECONOMIC POLICY AND MANAGEMENT STYLE OF GENGHIS KHAN

In this article the authors analyze economic policy and management style of Genghis Khan. The Mongolian ruler created a brand new economic model for Mongolia and introduced legislation that promoted economic development and progress. Genghis Khan used meritocracy in recruitment of his lieutenants and created a unique single economic space in Eurasia long before supranational organizations like WTO came into existence. Nowadays elements of Genghis Khan's rule have been introduced into contemporary management theory They are used for management of successful companies.
