Utilising a Clustering Model to Understand Patterns in Crime for Selected Nigerian Regions.

This research work specifically reviews and analyses data related to crime against persons, crime against property, and crime against lawful authorities within various Nigerian regions. The study also utilises a k-means algorithm to classify the severity or level of crime in different states and regions. This will assist security agencies in the deployment of adequate strategies for preventing or managing incidents related to highlighted clusters, before they occur or spread to other locations in grouped data points.
