A RESEARCH PAPER ON FORMULATION, OPTIMIZATION, AND IN-VITRO EVALUATION OF FLOATING GASTRORETENTIVE MICROBEADS OF CINNARIZINE
Due to its low cost and simple delivery technique, the oral route is the drug delivery strategythat is most frequently used to achieve systemic dispersion. However, the duration of the normal dosage's effectiveness is constrained. In order to prolong occupancy, maintain a long-term therapeutic plasma drug level, reduce intensity, and reduce fluctuations of plasma level in a controlled environment that affects gastro retention, drug delivery systems utilisingmicro beads are preferred. [1]Oral dose forms have a number of benefits, including convenience of use, comfort, andpatient compliance promotion. Due to the flexible structure and frequent movement of thegastrointestinal tract (GIT), it might be difficult to precisely manage medicine delivery tospecific areas of the GIT. Construct medical devices that provide continuous and regulated release qualities while retaining the medicine within the gastrointestinal system in order to address this issue. These cutting-edge techniques allow for the targeted delivery of drugs to particular locations, enabling efficient and localised treatment.
