Comparison performed in laboratory conditions for pHT

This document is MINKE’s Deliverable 9.4 “Comparison performed in laboratory conditions for pHT”.It computes all the information gathered during the organisation of the in-lab Inter-Laboratory Comparison (ILC) that happened in November 2023 on samples. The aim of this ILC was to demonstrate the reliability of instruments in terms of accuracy in controlled environmental conditions; for this objective, participants with different kind of instruments based on different types of technologies (spectrophotometry, potentiometry and bench top or in situ devices), were asked to use their own measurement method and provide their measurement results for two samples. One sample is a pHT reference buffer (TRIS) and the other one is a seawater sample. The analysis of the provided measurements through descriptive statistics and the performance statistic, En (Normalised Error) is performed. In the fi rst part, this document describes the design of the ILC and the way results are processed. Then, results are presented with their analysis. Finally, a discussion of the results is proposed.
