PROBLEMS IN STORAGE AND PROCESSING OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS
Agricultural products are crucial for food security and economic development. However, significant challenges in their storage and processing lead to considerable post-harvest losses, affecting both farmers and economies. This study investigates the main problems associated with the storage and processing of agricultural products, focusing on issues such as inadequate infrastructure, pest infestations, financial constraints, and environmental challenges. Data were gathered through surveys, interviews, and literature review to understand the extent and impact of these challenges. The study concludes with recommendations for improving storage facilities, enhancing infrastructure, and providing technical training, with the goal of reducing losses and supporting economic growth in the agricultural sector.
