THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND GLOBAL WARMING ON PUBLIC HEALTH: RISKS, CHALLENGES, AND MITIGATION STRATEGIES
Climate change and global warming pose significant risks to public health worldwide. Rising temperatures, increased frequency of extreme weather events, and changes in disease patterns have intensified the burden on healthcare systems. This paper explores the relationship between climate change and public health, identifying key risks, vulnerable populations, and strategies for mitigation and adaptation. By analyzing recent studies and scientific literature, we assess how environmental changes contribute to infectious diseases, respiratory illnesses, heat-related morbidity, and mental health issues. The study also emphasizes the need for interdisciplinary collaboration and policy interventions to mitigate climate-induced health risks and promote sustainability.
