(2010)). Taxon discussion According to Pourjam et al. (2010), this species belongs to a group of species with very long odontostyle (61-67 μm) and conical tail, which Ahmad and Jairajpuri (1980) ascribed to the subgenus Nepalus, now regarded identical with Heterodorus. Nevertheless, several remarkable traits (distinct flanges at odontophore base, tripartite uterus, 10-12 irregularly-spaced ventromedian supplements without hiatus) supports its inclusion in Enchodelus, although the conical tail with rounded tip is atypical in the genus. Thus, it is provisionally retained under Enchodelus, but further study based also on molecular data would elucidate its taxonomic status.
