THE ROLE OF SOCIAL IDENTITY IN DEVELOPING SOCIALINGUISTIC COMPETENCE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL LEARNERS
This study examines the impact of social identity on the development of sociolinguistic competence among primary school learners. Social identity, shaped by factors such as culture, gender, and community, plays a crucial role in how children engage with language in diverse social environments.
