MOTIVATIONAL TECHNIQUES FOR ESL TEACHING
This thesis investigates the motivational techniques employed by English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers and assesses their impact on student engagement and ultimately, on learning outcomes. It explores the multiple factors that influence ESL student motivation, encompassing both intrinsic elements such as a genuine interest in language learning and extrinsic motivators like the desire for good grades. Cultural considerations and the nature of the teacher-student relationship are also examined as key influences.
