Modelling framework for asynchronous land-atmosphere coupling using NASA GISS ModelE and LPJ-LMfire: Design, Application and Evaluation for the 2.5ka period
This repository provides the important data, codes related to the manuscript Singh et al., 2024 (GMD-Modelling framework for asynchronous land-atmosphere coupling using NASA GISS ModelE (https://simplex.giss.nasa.gov/snapshots/) and LPJ-LMfire (https://zenodo.org/records/5831747): Design, Application and Evaluation for the 2.5ka period). We designed a modeling experiment framework to attain the asynchronous land-atmosphere coupling between NASA's state of the climate model, NASA GISS ModelE, and a dynamic vegetation model LPJ-LMFire. We have submitted the data for vegetation land cover information generated for the final iteration of coupling of LPJ-LMFire model, Simulated climate data, and Processed paleoclimate data against which the GISS ModelE simulated climate is evaluated for 2.5ka period. Additionally, this provides the script for the vegetation cover (PFTs) mapping between LPJ to GISS model input vegetation cover along with the processing code. ** This repository contains multiple zip files containing various subdirectories
